A 1946 film noir directed by Arthur Ripley, based on the Cornell Woolrich novel The Black Path of Fear. Chuck Scott lands a job being a chauffeur for crime boss Eddie Roman. Chuck then gets involved with helping Eddie's wife and trouble begins.
