A silent 1917 film is about little Sara Crewe who ends up being put in a boarding school. Her father must go to war and thinks he's doing the best for his girl but doesn't know that the headmistress is a woman who is very spiteful and cruel. Directed by Marshall Neilan based upon the novel A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett. Stars: Katherine Griffith as Miss Minchin, Mary Pickford as Sara Crewe, and Norman Kerry as Captain Richard Crewe.
